Plenazo Tribe is a Los Angeles based collective dedicated to preserving, reimagining, and projecting Puerto Rican Plena to contemporary audiences across the United States and around the world. Led by Gabriel J. Montes (plenero, performer, and cultural creator) the band fuses traditional Plena with urban energy, community storytelling, and a powerful stage presence that connects generations, diaspora, and cultural roots. We create experience, identity, and cultural gathering.
