An actor, dancer, singer, percussionist, director, writer, producer, teacher, date seller at farmers market, triathlete and free diver from Carolina, Puerto Rico. He earned his BA in Theater from the University of Puerto Rico and went on to obtain his MFA in Acting from California Institute of the Arts.

Gabriel is the founder of the Plenazo Tribe. At Plenazo, participants not only get to enjoy performances of plena but are also invited to bring their own instruments and join in the joyful celebration of this traditional Puerto Rican music.

Rooted in musical and movement traditions, Gabriel acknowledges his uncles Hector Montes, Roberto Jimenez, and Edwin Montes as his professors and mentors. The profound influence of his extraordinary mother, Shirley Montes Albino, has shaped him into the artist he is today. Gabriel's role model is his father, Epifanio Jimenez—his pillar of strength and love. A heartfelt gracias extends to his brothers EpiJ & Gian, grandmas, sisters, cousins, mothers, fathers, aunts, friends, and chosen family, who have been an integral part of his journey.

Ecuadorian multi percussionist, composer, and arts educator.
Strongly influenced by Latin American culture, she has created her own original music and artwork fusing traditional music from Latin America and world music with new music and jazz. She also has performed in numerous ensembles including Plenazo Tribe, Club Mambi, Chacombo Afro-Peruvian ensemble, CalArts Brazilian Drumming Ensemble, Trio Acústico de las Americas, Tambora, Afro-Uruguayan Comparsa Medio Mundo, Cambamberos traditional Colombian ensemble, and several multidisciplinary projects including The Lost Tribes, a Theatre Dybbuk production in Los Angeles under the direction of Aaron Henne and Michael Skloff. 

Besides being an active performer, recording artist, and composer, she has taught at a variety of educational programs in Ecuador, Brazil and Los Angeles.
Emilia earned a Bachelor of Music from Universidade Estadual Paulista "Júlio de Mesquita Filho", MFA and DMA degree from the California Institute of the Arts. 

Plenazo Tribe's Music Producer. French-Californian, earned his BFA in Drum Jazz & Music Tech from California Institute of the Arts. From playing in the CalArts World Percussion ensemble to jamming out on timbales with "Los Angelitos del Mambo", playing congas with "Veetchy" and drums with "NC7teen". And when he is not rocking the stage, he's running The Music Ball- a little something to help nuture creativity and wellness.

Born in Cordoba, Argentina, studied Theater at Escuela Integral de Teatro Roberto Arlt, after she graduated, Maga took her degree and kept it in the bottom of her backpack and started traveling the world. She has been part of Companies of Theater, Music and Circus such as: La Tormentosa Teatro, Circo Da Vinci. Circo en Escena. Rompecabezas, rock para chicos. La Contra Tango. Polen Kumpania nomade. Chacombo. Afroperuvian experience. Club Mambi. She wandered through paths, scenes and stages of Latinamerica, Europe and North Africa for more than 15 years, connecting with ancestralities and costumes, learning rhythms and dances... A cultural path that developed a Mestizo and adventurer personality. Her compositions are full of mysticism and accompanied by the forces of nature, which cradle her in the coming and going of inhabiting the city without losing my animality . 

From the Rio de la Plata to the Caribbean Sea it was the waters that marked her path... with Candombe she learned to embrace the drum, with Rumba everything took on a magical sense and she understood that her song becomes stronger in Afro Latin America. 

Gabriela Bonet is an actor, dancer and singer born and raised in Bayamón, Puerto Rico. She is the singer of the Afro-Cuban Assembly of Conga Kidsand a member of The Plenazo Tribe.

Some of her theater credits include The Caucasian Chalk Circle (Antaeus Theater LA) Homeward LA 2019 (The Boston Court LA) Bright Room Called Day- Revisited (USC) Middletown (USC)  Mariology (Critical Mass Performance Group) Platero and I (The Kennedy Center in Washington DC and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland). Film credits include The Babymoon, Renacer, Trapo Sucio & the Puerto Rican TV Series Incognita 2. Gabriela holds a B.A. in Acting from the University of Puerto Rico and an MFA in Acting from the USC School of Dramatic Arts.

Aaron Hough, also known as Aaron Tloti’ina, is a trombonist, vocal improviser, and composer hailing from the Great State of Texas. At the age of thirteen he enrolled in the Palo Alto Middle School Band, assigned the trombone by his then-band director, when he originally wanted to be a trumpet player. After reluctantly deciding to stay on the instrument, it will carry him all the way through to Berklee College of Music on a scholarship where he earned a degree in Performance in 2022. 

Both during and after college, Aaron has worked extensively as an on-call Trombonist who’d lend his talents to hundreds of studio sessions and countless performances with many different artists, whose styles range dramatically from Indie/Folk to Jazz, Hip-Hop, R&B, Latin/Salsa, West African traditional, South African Pop, and experimental music. Since settling in Los Angeles in 2024, Aaron has continued to refine his skills and expand his knowledge on composing and traditional music of West African origin, and continues to seek avenues to share the music of the diaspora with the community he now calls home. 

Lu Arróspide is a multidisciplinary artist from Lima, Perú based in Los Angeles. Dancer, choreographer and creative director —whose work lives between movement and image, stage and screen. Moved from Perú to Los Angeles to study at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA LA), where she graduated from in 2022. Lu has brought her vision to films, music videos and international stages. Whether performing under bright concert lights, directing from behind the camera, or shaping stories through choreography, Lu moves with intention and poetic clarity. Her work reflects a deep engagement with storytelling, cultural memory, and the transformative power of the performing arts. Lu continues to travel the world dancing—gathering and creating wherever she goes.

(CalArts - BFA) is an LA based trombonist and composer focused primarily in the fields of jazz, Latin music, and experimental sound practices. Working collaboratively with musicians in many different fields has fostered and inspired a well-rounded instrumentalist who’s capable of playing in any situation she’s put in. Her trombone teachers include Amy Bowers, Ryan Dragon, and Matt Barbier. She studied jazz and improvisation with Mark Massey, David Roitstein, and Vardan Ovsepian.

Sehn-Ra Chestnut-Brooks is a professional trumpet player based in the Los Angeles area. He was raised in Inglewood, and he covers all genres of music from Classical, to jazz, to funk. He  has had the honor of performing with MC Hammer in the staples center in 2017 along with Grammy award winners such as Kelly Rowland, Corey Henry, Yolonda Adams,Tye Tribbett, Israel Houghton, and Hezekiah Walker. He has also performed in world renowned venues such as the Walt Disney Concert hall and Carnegie Hall multiple times.

Jenelle Roccaforte is a multifaceted bassist whose musical roots run deep in the rich soil of jazz, funk, and R&B. Born into a musical family in the vibrant city of Los Angeles, her passion for music began at an early age. After her studies at the California Jazz Conservatory she moved to New Orleans, where she developed her voice as bassist and artist who founded her own group Roccadile and released her first record "Green and Gold" in September 2023, a mesmerizing fusion of funk, jazz, and neo-soul all written by Jenelle herself. As a versatile bassist, she's performed with renowned artists such as Matt Cameron of Pearl Jam, Chuchito Valdés, the New Orleans Jazz Orchestra, Adonis Rose and NOJO 7, Zydeco legend Sean Ardoin, and the Southside Symphony. Currently. Her passion for music extends beyond the stage as she is an advocate for music education in underprivileged communities. She firmly believes in the power of music to transform lives, and has worked with numerous outreach programs, leading workshops and mentoring aspiring young musicians. Jenelle's dedication to music, outreach, her artistry, and the New Orleans spirit make her a rising star in the world of bassists and beyond.

Andrés Dankel is a multi-instrumentalist performer/composer from Walla Walla, Washington, currently based in Los Angeles, California. Under the stage name, dré elijah, he released his debut EP, “escuchando las estrellas,” recorded in his second hometown, Portland, at Page St. Sound Lab. Attending his first two years of undergrad at the University of Portland, he performed with various groups including the Earl Gracious band, Dina y Los Rumberos, and the historic Pura Vida Orquesta. He attributes much of his musical influence to his Guatemalan, Colombian, and Pacific Northwest family roots, which were cultivated over four generations of musicians. Born deaf in one ear, he places an emphasis on the vibration and rhythm his sounds create, and is known for dancing on stage to his original Latiné rhythms, fused with groove-based Hip Hop and R&B.

David Gomez is a Cuban bassist with more than 10 years of experience as a professional bass player. He began his musical studies at the age of 10 in his hometown of Havana,Cuba, where he studied classical music for 9 years.

After finishing his studies, he began performing in various musical genres such as jazz, funk, rock, musical theater, salsa and popular dance music and has shared the stage with great icons of Cuban music such as Omara Portuondo, Chucho Valdez , Angeles, Michel Herrera and many more.

After spending two years as a professional musician in Havana, he decided to continue his musical career in the United States where he settled in the city of Los Angeles.

Since moving to Los Angeles, David has played as a session musician (recording), live concerts, tours and numerous events including the Latin music Awards, Woodstock music festival, and San Francisco jazz festival.
